How to apply for a Twin Falls Public Library Card!

The Twin Falls Public Library is a city, tax-supported library, therefore:

  * If you live within the city limits of Twin Falls, you support the Twin Falls Public Library by the taxes you pay to the city. Therefore, you may get a Library card by providing the Library's Circulation Staff with:

        1. Proof of city residency- I.E. current driver's license or mail postmarked within the last 30 days
        2. Current photo identification - I.E. driver's license or ID card
        3. Completed online application

If you are a parent or legal guardian of minor children, you will need to sign them up for a Library card.

    * If you live outside the city limits of Twin Falls, but you pay city taxes by owning or renting city property, you are possibly eligible for a Library Card.  Please call the Library to find out what documentation you need to bring to the Library.

    * If you live outside the city limits of Twin Falls and do not own or rent city property (and therefore do not pay city taxes), you can still get a Library card.  However, you will need to pay a yearly fee comparable to the city tax per family household to do so.  If you are a Senior Citizen (age 60 or older) living outside the city limits, this yearly fee will be reduced.

If you have any questions, please call the Library at 733-2964, ext. 100

Fill out this Online Library Card Application form.   Please allow one full business day, after which you can stop in to pick up your card. You will be asked at that time to present picture ID or verification of your current street address, or proof of city property ownership. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian will need to present the information.

If you already have a Library card and wish to change or add information (such as an Email address), please use our Library Card Information Update form.
