The Twin Falls Public Library is seeking nominees to fill the seat vacated by current board Member Elly Young when her term expires in December of 2022. The City Council will appoint a new trustee to serve a term of office from January 2023 through December 31st, 2028.
The purpose of the five-member board is to establish the policies and rules of use for the governance of the Library. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the Library. Besides Young, current Board Members include Dana DeHaan, Susie Kapeleris, Jennifer Hall, and Lindsay Earls.
Interested applicants who reside within Twin Falls City Limits should submit a letter stating their reasons for wanting to be on the Library Board and their qualifications. Letters of interest should be delivered or mailed to the Twin Falls Public Library, 201 4th Ave E, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
